Meet the Staff

Dr. Jonathan Curtis's passion for chiropractic and pursuit of excellence drive him to keep improving the chiropractic experience for his patients. Dr. Jonathan Curtis attended Jackson College and continued his undergraduate education at Eastern Michigan University. He then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. After practicing in Jackson for three years he left to start his own office in Chelsea, MI.

Dr. Curtis enjoys spending time with his close knit family in Napoleon which keeps very busy running a small farm (Curtis Farms). He loves spending time with his wife Samantha and they frequently travel and spend time with family. He is a die hard basketball fanatic and can often be seen playing and coaching basketball locally.  

Dr. Curtis is committed to doing whatever it takes to help every patient that enters our office and wants you to know that our patient's best interest is our only concern.

Dr. Lucas Showerman strives to help people reach their true potential by reducing nervous system interference and promoting proper body biomechanics through chiropractic
adjustments. Improper joint alignment can decrease one's ability to heal, react to stimuli, and cause altered movement patterns and pain. Dr. Luke is driven to correct those misalignments, allowing the body to function as it was meant to.

Dr. Luke attended Olivet College and Lansing Community College before finishing his undergraduate degree. He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa, where he received his bachelor's degree in science and Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He graduated as class Salutatorian, as well as Summa Cum Laude. Before attending college, Dr. Luke graduated high school from Stockbridge

When he's not in the office, Dr. Luke enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, being outdoors, watching football, and golfing. Dr. Luke is committed to helping people reach their health goals, utilizing different techniques and approaches, ensuring that each care plan is specifically tailored to the individual.

Darcy is a Licensed Massage Therapist who graduated from Irene’s Myomassology Institute in 2020. Darcy’s passion for massage therapy and bodywork ignited after she experienced first hand the healing power of touch, when she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2019. Darcy’s style blends sports massage, shiatsu, and Thai massage techniques. She practices multiple modalities such as deep tissue, prenatal, lymphatic drainage, and cupping therapy. Her sweet-natured personality and calm energy are sure to put you at ease! When she’s not at work, you can find her snuggled up at home with her pup or tending to her flower garden in the summer!

 My name is Cheyenne and I have been a licensed Massage Therapist since 2013 graduating from the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage. I started massaging my fathers feet after long work days when I was about 3 years old and continued to be a team massage therapist for many sports teams I played on from the third grade into high school. After Cosmetology school it was a no brainer that I would want to add massage to my education. I specialize in Postural distortion fixation combining techniques such as Myofascial Therapy, Neuromuscular therapy, Sports massage, and many others I have been trained in to increase mobility and reduce pain.

My health journey is quite a story but to keep it short I have had a series of hip surgeries in my early 20s to try and help me out of lifelong pain that was overlooked as a child. I pursued my passion in pain relief because I understand what it's like to be miserable and I love having the opportunity to improve your quality of life, looking forward to working with you!

My name is Terri and I retired from full time work the end of June 2022. I have an Associate's Degree in Computer Networking and a background in accounting and medical billing. I love coming to work and supporting my son, Dr. Jonathan Curtis.

I love to spend time with my two sons, Dustin and Dr. Jon, and their families. In my free time I love to work on stained glass projects, quilting, and go camping with family and friends. I especially enjoy motorcycling with my husband Jeff on our Goldwing.

  Dr. Zachari LaPointe, DAOM, earned her B.A. with honors, from the University of Minnesota with a double major in Psychology and American Indian Studies. In 2000, she received her master’s degree in Acupuncture from Northwestern Health Sciences University (NHSU) in Bloomington, Minnesota, and in 2001 received her acupuncture license from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She has completed additional training in Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Techniques (NAET) and auricular medicine. 

In 2016, Dr. LaPointe moved back to home to Michigan from Tampa, Florida, where she managed an acupuncture clinic specializing in substance use, mental health & pain management. In 2021 she earned a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM) in Roseville, Minnesota. Dr. Lapointe specializes in pain management, weight loss, smoking cessation, substance abuse, and mental/emotional health.
